The Luck Illusion Featured in Vagabond Magazine

I am very pleased and proud to share that The Luck Illusion has been reviewed and featured in the August 2026 edition of Vagabond magazine.

The article was written by Vagabond editor Dimana Trankova and appears under the title:

“The Luck Illusion: Martin Signorin takes us on an eye-opening journey towards the true meaning of success.”

It is particularly rewarding to see the book receive thoughtful editorial attention from a respected English-language publication in Bulgaria, the country where I have lived since 2005 and where much of the book was written.

The feature considers the book’s examination of success, failure and the causes that are often hidden behind what we casually call luck. I was pleased that the review engaged with the central argument of the book rather than treating it as a simple motivational or self-help title.

...the author explains complex discoveries in fields such as psychology and statistics, and allows us to see Walsdos's story – and our own narratives – with new eyes.

For an independent author, a considered review of this kind means a great deal. Writing a book is largely a solitary process, and it is difficult to know how its ideas will be received until they are placed before readers. To see the book discussed with such care and understanding is both encouraging and deeply appreciated.
